There are over 68,777 police officers in Canada since 2015. Now, I know you think this is not a lot but it's plenty. Becoming a cop is not for everyone, but if you want it, you can do it.

Many people do not have much knowledge of the law. For example, when a police officer ask for your identification when you did nothing wrong, you had the right to say no. Of course, if you want to be a police officer, you have to do some law class during your police technology. You will learn the law of the police, the criminal law, the civil law and the highway safety code. On this website, you can find every law that you want and they are separated by many topics. For example, you will have "Families and couple" or "crimes, tickets and fines".
2. Make Money.
Another reason for you to become a police officer is to make some money. In fact, police officer have a good salary. The cost of living is constantly increasing. Also, after 25 years in service, if you want to retire, you will have a full pension. In other words, you will have your full salary even if you doesn't work anyone. When people have an emergency, the usually call 911 because they need some help from the police. This is when you enter into the action. You will have a chance to save lives and many more. Every day, you will have to put your life in danger to help other people and you will be a hero. You will solve marital problems or help a child find his parents. Also, you could help suicidal people when they want to take action. In conclusion, these are my 3 fabulous reasons to become a cop. Of course, it has many more reasons but if you want to improve your knowledge in law, or make money, or be a hero, why don't you try to become a police officer?
